Did you know that the Vampire Bat can walk, run, jump and do cartwheels?! Although, there are a lot of ok and kind of interesting land animals, Vampire Bats are the most interesting. The Vampire Bat mostly lives in caves, their wings are sharp like blades, and they are carnivores and carnivores only eat meat.

          To begin, the Vampire Bat lives in caves, mines, tree hollows, and abandoned buildings. They also live in parts of central Mexico, South America, Northern Mexico, Chile, Central Argentina, Uruguay, and Trinidad where life stock densities are high. Life stock densities are places where a lot of animals live.

Also, their adaptations help them survive and get food. They have teeth that are sharp like knives, and they are smart.  They can starve within 1-2 days. They are so light that when they drink the animal’s blood it doesn’t harm the animal. Their nose helps them find an animal, and if one bat can’t find blood then they can share. The bats wings are very tough and sharp. They can run like  spiders, jump like frogs, and are small enough to fit in your hand. Vampire Bats can die as easily as the world without air with living things still on it, if someone wakes them up in the morning. It hangs upside down when it sleeps. When they wake up they make little peeping noises. They weigh up to 15 and 50 grams, and they live up to 12 years.

           To end, Vampire Bats are carnivores and a carnivore is an animal that only eats meat. All bats sleep during the day that means that there nocturnal (nock-turn-al). If someone comes in they won’t attack, but if you disturb them they will fight back. Vampire Bats fly with their hands. They can fly up to 1,000 ft. and 60 miles per hour if the wind is right. They feed on mammals including humans. They can walk run, jump and do cartwheels. Instead of sucking the blood they will make a little cuts with there teeth and lick the flowing blood.

        As you can see, there are not alot of unusual and interesting animals and the Vampire Bat is the most unusual and interesting animal. It’s obvious, that the Vampire Bats live in dark and shady habitat, and if you are looking for a job you should save Vampire Bats, for they can help people with strocks.
