Habitat Diorama Created by Isabel

Dolphins

Do you know the animal that is 9 feet long with 55 pounds of muscle? Even though sea otters are talented, I think dolphins are even more talented.
To begin off with, dolphins live in the Pacific Ocean habitats. They squeak to make sure the fish know they are there to get the delicious fish. Dolphin’s beaks are 3 inches long. That seems as long as an elephant’s trunk! A dolphin’s pointy teeth help the dolphin hold on to its slippery prey.
To continue on with, dolphins adaptations are that they have expressive eyes, and they are good swimmers. They are good at catching fish and most importantly is they have sharp pointy teeth. Their teeth are as pointy as a sharks teeth.
Last but not least, dolphins eat lots of fish big fish and tiny fish. Dolphins are omnivores because they eat meat and some plants. The meat that they eat is fish. Why dolphins have sharp teeth is because the dolphins could hold on to its slippery prey and the prey is fish.
Truly, even though sea otters are talented, I think dolphins are even more talented. Dolphins live in the Pacific Ocean, they have wonderful adaptations, and they eat yummy fish. Please help dolphins survive, so save up money to help dolphins not get hurt by sharks.
